We couldn't agree more with Curtis Brown's suggestion that sexism continues to fester in Manitoba politics.
First, Brandon Mayoral candidate Nickolas Avlonitis, a hardworking construction worker, says he doesn't want someone in a pink dress representing him.
Second, incumbent Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz, a father of two children he openly talks about (and advertises), condescendingly refers to Judy Wasylycia-Leis as his "mom", and then unapologetically defends his comments.
Mr. Katz, meet Mr. Avlonitis. It looks like the two of you might have a lot in common.
